    What Method Do I Use To Pay For My Membership?
    Currently, using a credit card through our website or purchasing a gift card through our Amazon store, are the only methods available for purchasing memberships. 


    Membership How-Tos

    • How Do I Renew My Membership?
      Your Membership is Annual and renews automatically.

    • How To Upgrade My Membership Tier.
    1. Go to Account Control.
    2. Select Upgrade.
    3. Select the plan that works for you.
    • How To Downgrade My Membership Tier.
    1. Go to Account Control.
    2. Select Cancel.
    3. The option of downgrading will be available.
    4. Select the plan that works for you.
      Note:  If you downgrade after renewal, your new membership price will be effective the following year.
    • How To Check My Account Renewal Date.
      Go into "Account control". Under "Account Type" You'll see your Joined date, your Renewal date, and your status.  

    • How To Change My Password.
    1. Go into "Account control".
    2. Under the "Password " section Select the "Reset" button on the right-hand side.
    3. Fill in your new password.

    • How To Change the Email Address on My Account.
    1. Go into "Account control".
    2. Under the "Login with Email address" section Select the "Edit" button on the right-hand side.
    3. Fill in the email address you'd like to change your account to. 

    • How To Change My Display Name.
    1. Go into "Account control".
    2. Under the "Display Name" section Select the "Edit" button on the right-hand side.
    3. Fill in the display name you'd like to change to. 

    • How to Give a Membership as a Gift.
      If you want to give a membership for The Online Telescope as a gift you can go to our Amazon page and purchase a gift card. Here are the card redemption steps:
    1. In the upper right-hand corner of the Slooh.com home page, select “Sign in.” A sidebar will appear on the right.
    2. Select: Redeem Invitation Code.
    3. Input your email address and Invitation Code number off of the gift card.

    • How To Change My Payment Method and Card Details.
    1. Go into "Account control".
    2. Under the "Payment Details " section, select the "Update" button on the right-hand side.
    3. Fill in your new Payment information.

      • How To Opt-Out of Receiving Emails.
      1. Go to your Account Control page.
      2. Select the "Settings" tab next to the "Account Details" tab.
      3. Uncheck the box next to "Receive Upcoming Mission Emails."

      • How To Reclaim an Account.  
        To reclaim your account, log in and you’ll be directed to purchase the membership type you want to have. After you select your membership tier your account will reactivate.

      • How To Cancel My Membership. 
      To cancel your account, you can do so by following these steps:
      1. Login at Slooh.com.
      2. Click your profile icon at the top right and select "Account Control".
      3. Scroll down the page where you will find a "Cancel Account" button.
      4. Press the "Cancel My Account" button on the next page.

      Once your account is canceled your membership will not be renewed and you will not be billed for the next term.


      Membership Questions

      • What Happens to Images From Canceled Accounts?
        Images and other data from lapsed or canceled accounts are not retrievable. 

      • I Have Canceled My Account but It Still Says ‘Account Cancellation in Progress’. What Does This Mean?
        When you cancel your account, and if you do so before the next billing term, it closes after the term is completed. It will display as ‘account cancellation in progress’ during this time until the billed term is concluded.  
      • Not Receiving Emails.
        Verify that the email address you are using is paired with your Membership and that you have opted in. Also, verify that they are not being stopped by your Spam Filter. If you've done both and you're still not receiving emails, fill out a support ticket

      • I Have Opted Out of Emails but I Am Still Receiving Them.
        If you have opted out of emails and are still receiving them please, fill out a support ticket. Note: You will always receive an email about when your Missions have run.

      • Unable to Upgrade/Downgrade.
        Please fill out a support ticket

      • Unable to Cancel Account.
        Please fill out a support ticket
